<p><h4>To carry out applied research and technological development in the areas of refrigeration and heat pumps. To develop and build refrigeration advance systems, heat pumps and absorption heat transformers that operate with renewable energy sources, as solar, geothermal or industrial waste heat. To accomplish studies, to counsel, and to train in the areas of refrigeration, heat pumps, drying and energy saving.</h4></p>
